Marilyn Monroe is a celebration of an icon whose image, style and unapologetic presence continue to captivate generations.

Inspired by Marilyn’s unforgettable pose from The Seven Year Itch, the painting captures more than a celebrated cinematic moment—it evokes the confidence, glamour and individuality that made her an enduring cultural figure. There is an effortless boldness in her presence, a quality that I deeply admire.

Rendered in acrylic on canvas, the work brings together the timeless appeal of a classic Hollywood portrait with my contemporary visual language. My signature symmetrical squares and checks overlay the figure, creating a dialogue between the perfection associated with a screen icon and the complexity of the woman behind the image.

Part of my Lights! Camera!! Action!!! series, this work is also a journey into nostalgia—bringing a legendary face from the golden age of cinema into a contemporary artistic space.

For the collector, Marilyn becomes more than a portrait: she becomes a symbol of confidence, individuality and a timeless fascination with the magic of cinema.
