Lady and Squirrel is a tender portrait of trust—a quiet moment in which the boundaries between human and animal seem to disappear.

Against a warm ochre ground, a woman holds a delicate squirrel gently in her palm. Their eyes meet, creating an intimate exchange that feels almost instinctive. Her serene expression conveys a sense of tenderness and stillness, while the squirrel’s natural tones bring an authentic touch of the wild into the composition.

My signature geometric checks, woven subtly through the woman’s attire in peach and ochre, introduce structure against the organic softness of the encounter.

Part of my In Harmony with Nature series, Lady and Squirrel celebrates compassion, connection and the quiet wonder of being trusted by another living being.
