Couple in Love 16 celebrates the playful intimacy of two people completely at ease with one another.

Reclining together against a luminous purple-pink ground, the couple is rendered in a vibrant interplay of red, blue, lavender, purple and pink. Their relaxed pose and intertwined forms suggest a private moment filled with affection, chemistry and the effortless pleasure of being together.

My signature geometric checks move across their bodies, bringing an element of structure to the softness of the human form. The contrast reflects the central tension in my work—the meeting of order and desire, individuality and connection.

Part of my Bold and Beautiful series, Couple in Love 16 celebrates sensuality not as spectacle, but as an expression of confidence, intimacy and the freedom to embrace love openly.
