Remembrance 2 is a meditation on longing—the quiet ache of remembering someone who once held a place in our lives.

From a serene blue-green ground emerges a woman absorbed in thought, her vibrant figure composed of reds, yellows, blues and greens. Beside her, a softly rendered male presence appears almost like a fading memory—there, yet belonging to another moment in time.

My signature geometric checks fragment and reconnect the woman’s form, reflecting the complexity of memory itself: vivid in some places, fragmented in others, yet never entirely forgotten.

Part of my We Two Together series, Remembrance 2 invites the collector to pause, reflect and perhaps rediscover a memory of their own.
